Dr. Ashley James, BA, ND is a board certified naturopathic doctor practicing Auricular Medicine and Functional Medicine. Dr. James was employed as the team naturopathic doctor and nutritionist for the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Marlies from 2010 to 2015 and has appeared on The Marilyn Denis Show as a Health Expert.

Dr. James uses Auricular Medicine for diagnosis and treatment of her patients’ family health concerns. In addition, Dr. James has a special interest in Dermatology. She works in an integrated dermatology practice to help treat underlying imbalances that lead to dermatologic concerns.

Dr. James is a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) and York University (BA). She completed a clinical internship in sport medicine at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic at CCNM as well as a specialized internship in acupuncture and botanical medicine at the Wenzhou Medical College Hospital in Whenzhou, China. As a result of a special interest in detoxification, Dr. James has also completed advanced training in biotherapeutic drainage and detoxification as well as auricular medicine and auricular therapy. In addition, Dr. James is currently completing her Culinary Arts training at George Brown College. In the past, Dr. James has served as a teaching assistant at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. As an avid practitioner of yoga, Dr. James has been teaching yoga since 2005. Dr. James is a member of both the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND) and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) and is registered with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario.
